Here at Collies of BlueHarvest, we home-raise our puppies right in our own living room. Our puppies are born and live in an area (our livingroom!)in which there is activity all day long, and because we have young children, they are well adapted to handling by children. It is of utmost importance that Collies receive early bonding experiences with humans, because most of our puppies will eventually go to homes where they will live among mostly humans, sometimes other dogs, but they need to be bonded to people, not to dogs. Our two boys are always involved with our dogs, especially when the puppies come!
We are present during the birth of all our litters, and we are immediately hands-on right after birth. Our puppies are very used to being handled as we assist their mom with every part of their care right up until the day they leave for their new homes.

ALL OF OUR PUPPIES RECEIVE HEALTH EXAMS FROM BOTH LICENSED VETERINARIANS AND CERTIFIED VETERINARIAN OPHTHALMOLOGISTS BEFORE LEAVING FOR THEIR NEW HOMES.
